If this is ticking all your boxes, we have just the position for you. The marketing team at Mike Burton are looking for Creative Services Lead to work on some of the biggest sports brands in the world, including The British & Irish Lions, England Rugby and Team GB.

At Mike Burton, we create incredible fan experiences at some of the biggest events in world sport and this role will be at the heart of it.

As part of the marketing and product team you will work closely across the entire company, primarily focussed on Marketing to lead the creation and production of all assets used in digital, traditional, events and video to keep our campaigns top notch.

Driving the internal needs of the business, you will create full briefs and work with a selection of external agencies and freelancers to create the output required by the internal departments.

This role will oversee and deliver (with the production ability and skills) this process and ensure that an innovative, creative and on-message approach is taken to all in-house and agency sourced assets that will then be shared across various communications channels and events.


What we are looking for:

  • Someone who loves managing multiple projects and multiple creative agency/freelancers to deliver the best value outputs based on our objectives
  • Clear previous experience of creating and managing full briefs for internal and external teams to deliver the required output
  • A great people-first person who can build and nurture relationships, both within the business and with wider joint venture (JV) stakeholders
  • Experience in relevant video production knowledge and design software understanding would be advantageous but not essential, i.e. Adobe Premier Pro, Illustrator, In Design Lightroom, Photoshop, XD
  • A solid marketeer who understands the power of digital marketing
  • An ideas-driven person who thrives on creating and sharing fantastic marketing solutions
  • A great team player, happy to ‘help out’ in areas that ‘aren’t part of my job description’ to gain experience and opportunities


What you will be getting involved in:


  • Devising epic content strategies for digital channels, video and event branding
  • Helping to drive the development of the creative direction of each of the businesses to fulfil sales, marketing and operational objectives
  • Growing and managing our roster of agencies and freelancers, allocating appropriate levels of work
  • Be responsible for creating original and relevant outputs, always seeking opportunities to re-purpose digital and traditional content to reach a wider audience through native and social channels
  • Establish an effective in-house studio to manage the production of video content in-house with agency support, as well as co-ordination of the graphic design free lancers
  • Work with appointed brand and creative teams (internal and external) to revise, refine and develop the creative and brand direction of each business
  • Shout about what we do so our internal communications strategy is impactful and on time
